Terrarium as aquarium?

So I have this 40 gallon breeder it’s been sitting around for a year now planning on making it a vivarium, but I’m wondering if this tank could also be used as an aquarium. It is glass not acrylic not sure how thick it is. Here’s some pictures. If it is not fit for water would it be possible to reseal it with silicone?

If it was sold setup as a terrarium, the glass won’t be thick enough to hold the weight of water.
