Here at VCA we want all of our staff to be up to speed on various aquarium terms. We understand that not everybody is an aquarium expert. Some are new to the hobby while others have a little more experience.

We put together this little aquarium terms test to help them learn the most common names and terms used when talking about aquariums.

In this case, sort of, this tank had a refugium that turned into a softies display tank, since the urchin ate all the macro algae.

it was still a Refiguium however in the sense that it was a refuge for all little isopods, mysis shrimp and other tiny creatures to thrive without fear of being eaten by a fish
