There are a couple of people on here with those. As far as I know, they seem to like them.

I was considering the Neptune but calculating my doses isn’t rocket science and it’s a weekly thing

I've read a few positives but it's been a while since I looked into them. I was considering one but only being able to run one test at a time killed it for me. I don't run any controllers so testing is all manual. I only test NO3, PO4 and alk on a regular basis but I test 3 tanks every Sunday using Hanna checkers. I start with NO3 then move to PO4 while N is running then alk is completed while those two are running. It would take up too much of my time doing all of them one at a time. Just figured I'd mention it.

My understanding is it does use reagents but I'm going from memory which isn't great. I think for all the tests it does it's cheaper than buying individual checkers but only test the big 3 on a regular basis and already have checkers so not worth it for me.

Oh ok,
Well I found the big 5 hanna testers for £130 , already have ph probe and nitrites not needed on an 8 year old tank so maybe it’s not worth it then

I like mine. As previously mentioned, being limited running one test at a time is the only drawback. On the plus side, the wide mouth cuvettes are much easier to get along with than the narrow ones on the individual testers.

Uses the same reagents.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you have separate eggs, you can start a nitrate test which involves a 7-minute reaction time. While you are waiting for that to run, you can do several other tests.

With the master kit, you have to wait for one test to be done before you can start another.

Exactly so why pay 3x the cost for the multimeter ?

It is a bit cheaper than buying all 9 eggs separately. (At least it was when I bought it) At the time, I had no test kits yet, so it made sense to buy them all in one.

What I didn't understand at the time was that it didn't make sense to invest in Hanna-level test kits for nitrite and ammonia since you don't need them for long. However, I still run 5 tests every week with it, and have the ability to run a few more when I want to so I think at worse it is a break even financially.

Only benefit I saw being one device needing calibration but still need independent reagents.

I’m going to go down the apex pro Neptune route , planning on heavily stocking with expensive sps/lps so the stability will need more accuracy than I can keep on top of with needs shifting constantly
