I am having a hard time understanding how to read my Aquaforest magnesium test kit and Red Sea Calcium for some reason. The first is magnesium is this

.70 or .78?
And this is the calcium

If you’re down to .22, I’d say .78. And jeeze wtheck kinda plunger is that. With no background on that, I’d wanna keep it simple and say 0.3

Its the plunger that came with the kit. So you read it from the tip not the base. Thank you

Really? Seems unlikely to me. Typically one reads a plunger where the rubber first touches the barrel wall in the direction of the tip.

But it should be easy to tell. Push the syringe all the way in and see what part of the plunger matches to zero on the barrel, and use that for all measurements. One would not read from the end of the pointy tip of the plunger since it will go below zero and into the tip part of the barrel.

That makes total sense some times I tend to over think. I will put it at 0 and see where to read from. Thank you for helping me simplify the process.

Not your fault. Some of these tests are kinda funny. I always wonder how they choose the supplies and it’s gotta be more than just the method of testing like logistics or cost that imparts why they choose certain syringes, etc.
