I got all set up in the basement for some aquascaping...

5 min or less scape before I had to leave for work....not bad I might play around with that some to see if I like it.

oh and I figured out how to post bigger pics on the R2R app. that took forever...

in other reefing news I got my dedicated RT pump & my avast ATO pics of the new gear soon.

I am playing around with the idea of upgrading my RODI flow either by a water safer kit or aquatic life booster buddie. I am only getting 50-55PSI in to my RO membrane so the water saver kit is out BUT there could be a restrict-or inline some where the capillary type.
more research is needed.

I ended up having to get the Booster Buddie as I'm on well water and the my water pressure was low inside the house. It's definitely helped my DI resin from depleting faster.

placed the order for the booster buddie today. should get here about the time I am ready to starting filling with RODI . this will help alot.

in other reefeing news I am really enjoying the process of the NSA aquascap its very challenging on a peninsula tank where it need to looks great from 3 sides. but I just kick on some good music and spend a few hours at a time. its slow going for me BUT I am finding it enjoyable.

prob have about 7hrs in the the aquascape build so far.

the aquascape is coming along great all tho I am finding it difficult to keep the open space for big sand loving corals and general feel of the tank and the rock scape for other corals.

i'll upload a crappy vid of what I have some far. just the back of the tank to go. that i have to cement it let it cure move it into the tank...

working on the last part of the aquascape. then I will do some detail work. why that is curing i'll do a FW test on the tank just to make sure my glue held.

then add the scape and start the process of making RODI and getting the cycle going.
my goal is by the end of the year to have everything up and running. still lots to do.

my ATO came in and got a booster pump with flush and shut off valves pics to come...

1st BRs extra think supper glue with home made activator then E-marco cement in purple.

Got in a few more things for the build.
I am excited about the avast ATO .

Decided to a dedicated manifold pump so I picked up another DC return pump.

I have pretty low water pressure here at the new house so i got the Aquatic Life smart buddie booster pump to help making tank water faster. I can have it hooked right up to the Rodi unit to my mixing station and it has an auto shut-off as well as a flush valve.

Ok I finally got the gate valve today that i ordered on dec. 3 from amazon...prime my.....lol

got a few days off coming up hoping to finish up the plumbing tomorrow after some snowboarding.
