This will probably be a little less detailed than most build threads and I’m new here so if I don’t include certain details feel free to ask.
I’m consolidating two tanks (a 90g and a 54 corner) into a 180 gallon with a 75 gallon sump. I got the everything used and had to build the stand (and soon the canopy) myself.

I started with building out the frame. Simple 2x4 build, the final product has more bracing then what is shown here but at the time of most of these pics I didn’t think I would be posting about it.

Figured out a door design I was happy with and began wrapping the exterior with cedar planking.

This is the final wrapped stand with some black trim pieces.

A few more pics top two are the tank set up and halfscaped then one to show the doors working the last pic is the 54 with some of the rocks and coral that will be added soon once it’s cycled.

haven’t updated in awhile so here are some new pics. Rockscape is done and going through some uglies but the corals from the previous tanks have taken nicely to their new home. I added my first acro frag about two weeks ago and it seems to be doing well.
