Just wanted to share my experience with my crocea and see if anyone else can share theirs. I started with my crocea over a year and a half ago in my 55 gallon up very high in intense light under t5s. When I moved my tank to the 120, he kept chucking himself off of the rocks onto the sand so I got tired of it and left him in the sand bed. Well, I grow chalices, plates, and ricordea on the sand bed. As of now (almost a year later), he is "happy as a clam" on the sandbed in lower light. He extends his mantle a bit more to get more surface area for photosynthesis but that is it. Has anyone else had an experience like this?
