Ok, where would you guys buy your next yellow belly Regal Angle? Wild caught or captive bred. sorry I'm sure it been ask before.

I’ve had great luck with TSM. I’d message them direct. Sometimes they have them in stock but not listed.

They do get them at the 4.5-5” range tho. Not sure if your tank size….

300 gallon FOWLR (96x24x30), no angels yet. What would you add? I really can't decide. I'm stuck between a regal, majestic, blueface, emperor, or a blueline angel. Would love a queen but my tank seems too small for one. Prefer an angel that isn't a complete ******* which seems to point away from the emperor :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Regals are VERY nice, definitely high up on my list. I wonder if I could do a regal and blueface together possibly?

They should do fine together. Different genera are easier and if you use an acclimation box it should be even easier.

They are great reef fish, but they are boisterous and aggressive. They always chase each other. Never fight to the point of injury or torn fins but never at peace. They are beautiful and graceful, but I did not like it due to the non-tranquil nature of this species.
Harem of Flame angels are much more peaceful.
I got a thread on this harem somewhere here on R2R several years ago.

I messaged pomalabs and they told me in a few months they'd have more blue line angelfish ready. I'm considering one of those as well

Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Was hoping they'd be more peaceful, perhaps a solitary specimen would suffice.

I already have a fat resident flame, so I think a trio of them isn't a possibility either.

Too many options... probably best to hold out for 2 of my favorites: the multibar and golden dwarf.
