I plan for one more on the Angel route in my 5 foot system, but for now it’s just watching the lot I currently have grow.

Yes she was, unfortunately I lost her whilst she was still settling - not 100% sure what it was due to though.

They need a lot of TLC. I've kept quite a few over the course of the past few years. I've lost quite a few to disease unrelated to their own issues. I have a few still. The first week is the hardest.

It's interesting to see how most photos of Golden angelfish are in captivity. I don't know if some of you have noticed otherwise, but I've only seen a handful of photos of this fish in the wild. I was fortunate enough to see one with my own eyes about 20 years ago, and as I mentioned earlier, its price has increased tenfold since then, but I haven't stopped wanting to keep one someday.
Where did you see them in the wild? They are often not seen because they prefer areas that aren't quite as popular for diving near and they are extremely shy. They aren't even at a deep depth either. I wish I could see one in the wild.

Sorry for the late reply, there is an article about Golden angelfish with some photographs in the wild taken by Richard Pyle (if I'm not mistaken), but I don't remember where it was published.

I was mistaken and thought you meant you saw them with your own eyes in the wild.

You've seen them in the wild yourself? Would be curious to know what atoll.

I havent seen them in the wild. I just know that is the #1 wild collection zone

Does anybody have a Captive bred Majestic angel and could share pictures? Preferably as an adult. Considering one of these or a pair for my tank.
