No problem. The reason I love a pair of them for you is that hawkfish don't move as much as flame Angels so you won't notice one as much. A pair though - not only a real cool wow factor but more likely to bring red life to your tank.
That sounds great, my blue and yellow tangs do lots of swimming and my coral beauty (oh I forgot that one earlier) is calm as calm can be. Great fish. I just like the pop of the flash or red/orange.

I've always liked the flame, so it's a huge bummer. Maybe I'll do a good school/shoal of something instead?.!?.

I love red fish, but that's just me. It makes the tank pop and completes most color spectrums.

Let's hear it for the Asfur Angel!!

I bought my first one back in 1991 when they were much more uncommon. I clearly remember paying $400 for it from a SoCAL wholesaler I was dealing with. Those metallic blue scales on the head and the beautiful yellow crescent... it's a wonderful fish and HARDY!!! as a triggerfish.

I love angels but as we all know they are not reef safe. It sucks that such beautiful fish have to destroy our reefs

Not all angels are non reef safe. My adult Emperor angel has been in my mixed reef tank since it was a juvenile. It doesn't bother anything except Zoas and clams.

Has anyone had any trouble keeping a Genicanthus bellus in a mixed reef tank? Do they ever nip at certain corals? And how hard are they to keep? Also I have a female Spotbreast Angelfish (Genicanthus melanospilos) in my 120 tank that I've had for a year. Could I ad a female Genicanthus bellus safely with her?

Genicanthus are extremely reef safe angels. They do not eat, nip, or look at corals. It's not part of what they eat. I would say they aren't any difficult to keep than most other angels. Just keep them fed, plenty of room for swimming, and you should be golden.
As for adding another one, I would say yes. They aren't aggressive unless obviously males are added with males. However, best kept as male and female pairs or 1 male to a harem of sexy females.

Agreed on the reef safeness of Genicanthus.

I have had some aggression between females, but nothing prohibitive. I would recommend using a social acclimation box for introduction.
