I love your build, how have I missed this?
Are you still doing the second sump?
I cancelled my 7 x 4 x 2 a couple of months ago due to stuff, maybe next year!
I don't do water changes unless required.
I had a baby puffer about 6 years ago, a cancelled upgrade saw me having to take it back, I fed it by hand, it is like having a pet puppy in the tank, she will love it!

Ha thanks I’m just a silent poster I think. No not at the moment due to I feel the system is okay with just the one 5x2x1.8 sump. We are in love with the baby puffer he’s awesome! He’s finally got salt down to 1.08sg now so doing him and two tangs on that method. The rest are in copper. Can’t feed by hand yet as mysis is all he eats do far and saw him take a few eggs.

Break-a-way points and what are they? Here is my explanation on brake-a-way points In a tank to help divide aggression with examples I my QT (the QT situ for brakeaways won’t last for ever as they do need space but it is to help for the now before they go into the large main Display. Hope this helps to understand my method on how I pre plan fish.

What a day today has been.. it’s been stressful 3 days but I could not wait for the vets to get back to me any longer. So I took took to operating on the butterfly’s mouth. Hopefully he will make the night and tomorrow is a new day. Then I have to worry about secondary infections. But I have everything ready. Water has some anti bacteria in the water. Let’s hope this little cutie makes it through.

It’s been a while since I posted. However the tank is starting to blossom now.
The remaining tangs left to add is:
Yellow tang 5+
Orange shoulder tang
Achillies tang
Chevron tang
After they are added I will then be looking at anthias or damsels to add a little depth and 8 fire gobies is a possibility too.
angels left to add:
Six bar angel (one I got passed away two days after I purchased it)
Koran angel
Possibly a blue face.
