The BEST Biocube hood mod I have ever seen! Tell me HOW please!!

I recently was looking for hood modifications that does not completely remove the hood from the Biocube - and I found it. Can anyone take a look at the pics and share how they would make this modification? Please share tools, and process that you would use to get it to be this clean of a cut. Thank you!

Pretty sure that’s an old hood from the bio cube HQI versions that had metal halide lights so it came with a cut out area like that for the light to get in.
I don’t think it’s actually “moded”

Its not though. The hood clearly says LEDBiocube on it. This is modified, beautifully at that, and I want to know how it was done as well.
