We work with a lot of "Chalice Corals' because we love them, and so do our customers.
Every one in a while we get one that is just plain insane. In this case, not only is it insane looking, but it has a name that makes us laugh (and cringe, too)! We resigned to the fact that, although names are often ridiculous, they can serve a useful purpose in helping consumers identify corals easily.
So, without further explaination, here is the "Jy Jy Swirl" Chalice. The name is bizzare, but the coral is amazing! one of the nicest we've ever seen!
If you're interested, it's available now:
Echinophyllia sp. - "Jy Jy Swirl Chalice" - 3/4" WYSIWYG Specimen
Definitely a conversation starter!
