Since starting my tank, I’ve made it a point to explore options beyond my local fish store. While in St. Louis today, I had the opportunity to visit The Corner Reef—a shop that stands out in every way.

The store is immaculately maintained, well-stocked, and thoughtfully organized. The tanks are pristine, the displays are impressive, and the selection is one of the best I’ve seen. Whether you're looking for fish, inverts, pods, corals, or equipment and additives, The Corner Reef has everything a reef keeper could need.

Steve, the owner, is highly knowledgeable and runs his business with professionalism and transparency. He takes the time to help customers find the right products for their budget, matches Bulk Reef Supply prices, and even buys and resells used equipment at significant discounts. Unlike other stores I visited in the St. Louis Metro, he openly acknowledged the strengths of his competitors and encouraged me to check them out myself—a level of confidence and respect that was not reciprocated elsewhere.

Between the store’s cleanliness, selection, and customer service, The Corner Reef sets a high standard for what a saltwater shop should be. I ended up spending more than I planned, but with zero regrets. It was a top-tier shopping experience, and I’ll definitely be back.

Looking forward to next time!
