Removed the original Elos LED strips and replaced them with 3 AI Hydra's. With some DIY they fit perfectly in the Aquatop

Still need to clean up the electronic storage part in the cabinet.
Front panel shows the controls for the Apex, Tunze Wavebox and the Gyre IceCap modules

Eshopps 2-part Dosing unit installed

Sand, rocks and water...

Sump

RODI and SW water station

Next posting I will show my light and flow schedule and also pics from the the corals and fish I have so far

And at first the traditional algae outbreak of course. All gone in the mean time.
Just still fighting some occasional diatoms on the sandbed

I have been dosing some H2O2 at first but after visiting friends in Germany I noticed quite a few were using the so called "SÖCHTING Oxydator" in their tanks or sumps.
I ordered one and filled it with regular H2O2 and seems to work pretty good so far. Water is crystal clear and no hair algae issues (keeping fingers crossed)

Tank is doing well and slowly making progress.
No algae issues. Just the occasional green spots on the sand.

Keeping those numbers stable now:

Alk: around 8
Calcium: 400
Magnesium: 1300
Nitrate: 2.5
Phosphate: 0.02 - 0.04

Couple random shots:

Nice looking tank and corals. How are you getting on with the Oxydator now that you have had it a while?

Hello @MAXreefer - Great tank - I hope you're still around. I'm (likely) getting an Elos120XL and I wanted to get the wavebox - I wondered if you have any comments on how it works? Like is the water level low enough below the top of the tank and how does the overflow & return deal with the rocking? Also do you have it next to the overflow or opposite end. Thanks ;)
