Good morning all.
Here is my newly cycled tank.........
140G 2-28-20.jpg

Here is my Sump and skimmer.
Sump 2-28-20.jpg

Tank and sump stats.
This is an odd ball sized tank, 22.75 X 22.75 X 72
Tank volume measured empty is 147 Gallon
Sump 150 Gallon
With all the deductions and water height's taken into consideration over all water volume is around 225 Gallons.
Crushed coral bed not sand.

So, now its time to stock some fish.
So, Currently I have in the tank. (All transferred from my Nano)
Two adult Snowflake Clowns.
One Yellow eye Kole Tang, about three inches.
One dime size Trochus snail.
One BTA that does HOST my clowns.

In another tank I have livestock I plan on transferring later on in the next month or two.
A 3.5 inch Potters Angel, semi aggressive dude so waiting till last.
A adult Banggai Cardinal. Will go in soon.
One peppermint shrimp.

I am looking to add another three or four fish to the tank and want the forum to choose what I will put in.
Criteria as follows.
Overall budget allowance for all fish is $400.00. So Gem tangs and high end angels are out LoL.
Not looking for pairs.
I will have inverts in here so not keen on invert eating fish please.
Its a new tank so fish like pod eating Dragonetts will be excluded.

Be specific don't just say a given species like Tang, or Goby. state the type please.
The fish with the most votes wins and so on.

there's got to be an end to this so today is the start and will close the process in a week on the 10th of this month at noon. Then the tally's will be taken and the results will be posted.
I will post pictures of the fish after I purchase them, and the progress to get them into the tank, If there is still interest in the thread by that time anyway.

So forum members pick my fish... :D

Hi,

tank rock looks great. Fish wise it’s really up to what you like and To serve a purpose. I like carpenter wrasse, 2 barred rabbit fish, and the cardinals like you mentioned. I have pajama. A fire fish is colorful but can hide a lot.

let us know what you pick

Harlequin tuskfish can eat inverts but I haven’t had problem with them in the past doing it. Also a nice eye catcher.

Inserted the video and then tried to add some words, would not let me.

But here is a fish update all transfers from my temp tank.

Potters angel
Kole Tang
Cardinal
2 clowns

Fresh out of QT are the two Lubbock's Wrasse, will have been the new fish on the block for almost 21 hours now.
Seem to have adapted well and are not hiding.

The Tang and Angel are getting along well, I am shocked.
Almost never apart and don't fight or pick on each other. (Or maybe just not Yet!)

Kole has Ladder Line I know, started in the QT when I first picked him up, my fault as I was not properly feeding him. Started him on a healthy diet and it got better.
Put him in a Nano from the QT (Not by choice) all was fine for months.
Put him in the main display and he was doing even better, so a week or so went by and I wanted to clear up a bit of cloudiness in the water column, so I installed a carbon canister with ROX-0.8. In about three days I noticed his face getting worse.
Started researching and pulled the carbon, and it seems to be receding now.

But the clowns used to make their home in the BTA when they were in the Nano, but don't go near the BTA now. I think maybe the flow is to strong for where she decided to affix herself maybe.

The new coral additions are the Apple Scolly far bottom right hand.
and the two Coco worms.

Transferred corals from the temp tank are
Mushrooms
Blasto
Two Zoas

So over a year after my first reef tanked leaked I am actually on my way now.

Here is a YouTube link to the video if it wont play for people.

I do not have a Tusk in this tank.
