Hi all reefers. I hope you are well.
After a lot of research and indecision, today I finally started my project. A starting point for what I hope will be a long journey full of learning and enjoyment of this hobby.
I don't have any photos yet, as the aquarium will be custom-made. However I leave my setup here. Feel comfortable to comment on any equipment that you feel is inadequate.
The project aims to maintain SPS, LPS, Softs and some fish (still under study). I want to keep this aquarium as an integral part of my living room decor, hence I want to keep it healthy for a long time, with all life thriving.

Aquarium - 100x60x50 (79gl)

Sump - 80x45x40 with refuge (38gl)

Furniture - Galvanized lined with luxbond

Skimmer - Buble Magus A8 (132 gl to 237 gl)

Return pump - BM Rock WP2000

Replacement pump - MANTIS Smart ATO

Circulation pump - Maxspect MJ GF 4k

Dosing pump - Still under study, suggestions?

Lighting - 2x AI Prime 16HD with glass support bracket

Sand - Ati Fuji white sand 9kg

Dry Rock - 55 lbs of D-D Aquascape Rock

Heater - Sicce scuba 300w

Filter Bag - 200 micas 10x38

Ceramics - AF Life Bio Fil 1000ml

Bacteria - (to start the cycle)
Af Bio S
AF Bacteria NP Pro

I hope you enjoy.
Now we just have to wait for everything to arrive and for the aquarium to be set up.
I hope you like it and follow the project, as soon as I have news I'll post some photos and videos.
Hug to everyone

Hello everyone

I have 19lb of rock from an old aquarium. At one time it was live rock, but it has been in storage for 5 years, soon it is dead rock. Since I'll have to wait about 2 months for the tank to be built, I was thinking about putting this rock in salt water to mature. What advise? Is bringing it to the correct temperature with a circulation pump enough?

Thanks
