My past golden retriever was also named Buddy! He was a great friend, lived a long 13 years and was my first dog.

Here's my current dog. I found her on my first day working at the animal shelter. She was scared of literally everything and wouldn't leave me. Had to take her home as I love Goldens! I'm always amazed at the dogs you find at shelters. They're very good dogs waiting for a loving home. Very lucky to have found her!

And here's my favorite photo of her. Buritto/Jellybean Dog anyone? Surprisingly, she was comfy and fell asleep like that... LOL!

this is jersey. i adopted her when i moved two years ago. she was pregnant and had been used as a puppy factory. she is a red nosed pitbull. my brother didn;t give her the attention she wanted and was not the nicest to her so she would "go" in the house when i wasn;t home. since it is his house he made me get rid of her. a friends grandpa adopted her and she is happy as can be. i kept one of her puppies...

and this is him. his name is loki. the prettiest brindle pitbull ever. i raised him for 1 year and 8 months. he was great with people and other dogs, but had a strong small animal hunting instinct. he got loose (i had a shock collar fence system, my brothers husky had such long hair that the collar did not work on her, and she broke the wire, and they left the yard). i was woken up by animal control informing me my dogs attacked a mini horse. my brother left the house knowing the dogs were loose and did not even wake me up or go find them. loki went after a baby mini horse and the momma stepped in to protects her children. she bit him and he attacked her. i took him to the animal shelter and told them exactly what happened fully expecting my best friend to get put down. 3 days later he was adopted to a guy with a big open piece of land for him to run and hunt in the woods. it broke my heart and i am still upset over this whole situation (i mean yeah, $10 set of longer prongs and my brothers husky would have stayed in the yard...) but am happy he is out loving life still.

sorry for the sad story but i wanted to share pictures of my dogs. i can't wait to get another when i get a place of my own...

its hard to not be mad at my brother for being so irresponsible.

This is lucky the snuggle bug! We believe she has some Carolina dog in her but possibly some other mix.

She is a great dog and loves to just hang out and snuggle and lick you all day! Lol

She was adopted as a puppy the day my girlfriend won $500 on a scratch off ticket, hence the name lucky ;)

But we are the lucky ones, she is a great dog and as a bonus almost never barks.

This is Dakota. We had him for close to 13 years and he was one heck of a dog. In my opinion labs are one of the best dogs you can have. We had to put dakota down a few days ago :'( but he will never be gone. Heres an really old picture with my brother

Here's my other dog max. He's a chocolate lab or as we like to call dark chocolate :) When he was a puppy we all thought he was a black lab he was so dark! Hes 9 years old but he still acts like a puppy. Ever since weve had him, we havnt been able to keep him out of the water whether it was our pool or the river, he doesnt care. He also thinks dolphins and manatees are his friends and likes to jump off the boat while driving just to try and play :) Hes not the smartes but I love him! He also thinks hes a lap dog...

The boys had just got back from mud riding. Notice the Miniature Daschund at the bottom, re-claiming his territory. I call him Rusty Bucket. He's not the sharpest crayon in the box. Even though he hikes his leg...he still tinkles on the ground...lol. Something even funnier.....he hikes his leg for #2 also! I told ya he wasn't very smart..lol
