My great dog...Peter
Had to send him to the bridge just last week because of a tumor on his heart. One of the best dogs EVER. 150lbs of loyalty and love. I miss that boy so much!!
My other great dog...Mocha
5lbs on miniature Pinscher. Got her when she was 5 weeks old and she's 11 yrs old now. I tell her daily she has to live at least another 20... Since I don't know what I'd do without her.

Love, Love, Love seeing everyone's babies!
I have two boys that are the lights of my life.
Havoc (on the left) is 8yrs old and Is a Dutch Shepherd. He is one of the most intense and intelligent dogs I have ever worked with. He is police and protection trained and is an amazing family dog. While he is retired from police/protection work I still compete with him in Splash Dogs water sports.
Bosco (on the right) is a 2 year old pit bull. When I rescued him he was on his final hours at the shelter and was only 9wks old. He had an enormous amount of energy and drive and the shelter was hoping to place him with someone who had experience with working dogs. I knew it was meant to be. He is an amazing dog and I am amazed by his ability to sense when I am not feeling well or when I am upset. He is a great family dog and a best friend to my nephew. He has inspired me to become a voice for those who don't have one.
I now work hard as an ambassador for the pit bull and bully breeds that are so often mis-represented in the media.
When I adopted Bosco I committed to teaching him how to be a well behaved, social dog. I have spent hours upon hours training with him and helping him learn acceptable behavior. Training dogs is not always an easy task and so often people take dogs home and never give a second thought to training. This can unfortunately lead to dogs becoming statistics. I am a firm believer that there are dangerous dogs in every breed and that dangerous dogs must be dealt with. Im a believer in rehabilitation, however I also know that rehabilitation is not always an option. I am against BSL (breed specific legislation) and I work hard in promoting responsible pit bull ownership. I absolutely do not agree that ALL pit bulls are bad or that any breed is dangerous as a whole. I would encourage anyone wanting more info to seek it out and educate themselves.
Thanks for allowing me to share my love of my boys. I understand that not all will agree with my opinions and Im okay with that. All I ask is that if you do not agree please be respectful of the environment. I only shared because it is a passion for me not to start a large debate.

My other dog is a pitbull we got from a shelter. If anything happened to her i honestly don't know if I would be able to move on, She is four years old. I got her the summer of fifth grade, I've had surgeries due to sports injuries and I was on bed rest for a month. My parents brought home a pitbull puppy who we named jiggs. She goes everywhere with me and never leaves my side, she sleeps in my bed and is honestly my best friend.

On the left is my 3 year old mix Coco (she was a rescue and the day after bringing her home we began a grueling week through Parvovirus).
On the right is Jack (Sparrow), my husband's mastermind p.i.a. Eskimo.
We love them both to infinity and beyond!

My 3 furry kids are such an inspiration to me. ALL of them are rescues from terrible situations that would have been certain death.
This is Molly, she was tied to a tree on a 5 foot rope for most of her life until the rope dry rotted and she was able to get away from the abusive "owner". And my wife had offered to take her from this so called owner and was shown a shotgun and told to get off the property. The day she broke free it was pouring rain and my wife just happened to see her dragging her rope getting close to the on ramp of a busy interstate. She pulled over and stopped traffic to grab her up! She had to endure full heartworm treatment and be treated for mange, but she is a fluffy ball of hair now and is spoiled to the point of being confused for Royalty.
This is Shelby, he was rescued from a house that had been deserted and then had been set on fire. He was one of a 4 pup litter that survived the fire along with the mother. We were able to get him once he was old enough and after finding a good home for the mother.
This is Briley. She was found dumped out on Briley Pkwy in Nashville TN. The person who found her lived in an apartment, and the landlord said he couldnt keep her. She was only 10 weeks old and was then taken to the local shelter where at the time they did not adopt out "pitbull" type dogs. She had been set for euthanasia 3 days prior to when my wife arrived to do a PSA film on the importance of spay and neuter. We had just fostered a white American Bulldog that was awesome and we were left with a void when it found its forever home. So my wife saw this sweet innocent puppy that no one in the shelter could bring themselves to doing their job to put her down. So my wife convinced the shelter manager to label her an "American Bulldog" on her papers and we brought her home!
