So, unfortunately, it would appear that my Coral Beauty is no longer. It has been several days since I've seen him, and since I opened up the aquascape, there aren't a lot of blind spots to hide in.

This makes me sad, but the fact that he was a jerk (a bully that also ate two clams) lessens the blow a bit. I do have it on good authority that Santa will be bringing me a Bellus Angel this year, though. So that helps, too.

I'd be happier with that Bellus anyway! Beautiful fish.

Arts & Crafts time! Scored some mini Morroca rock from @premiumaquatics that I've been sitting on for a few weeks. Gonna make some new arches for the DT.

Good Morning, Heathens!

I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday, and for those of you that need to recharge from family and friends, I wish you a relaxing Monday.

It is Maintenance Monday in The House of Orange, and I've got a lot on the docket for the day to get ready for the first batch of frags arriving tomorrow. I'll be in and out, so if you need me please be patient- I'll be delayed in responding.

I'll post some update pics later, to include the placement of the new arches!

Namaste.

I've been working like a rented mule all day. More on that later, along with some tank shots and updates. In the mean time, IT'S MOAR POOTIE MONDAY!! Enjoy

25 gal WC, new arches added, sand bed vaccuumed again, glass cleaned, and a few other miscellaneous odds and ends done today. Between the new fleece roller, repeated vacuuming, and nightly dosing of KZ coral snow I've been seeing substantial improvement in water clarity. The relatively barren landscape will be remedied over the next two days. Stay tuned.

Makes me want to pull the trigger on that 6ft upgrade... Unfortunately the next trigger would probably be aimed at my head! :astonished-face:

Too many fish for so little coral. They need somewhere to poo!
