My battle with ulva continues. I say battle but that implies both sides fighting and if I'm honest, I've massively neglected this tank since I started packing to move house a few months ago

I pulled out this much today and there's still easily 3 times as much still in the tank. Before I transfer anything to the new tank, I'll have a mega manual removal sesh.

I've also emptied the ALR1 today for the first time in months. The chaeto is really thick! So I guess light will struggle to penetrate which means slower growth. So maybe the ulva will get a tiny bit starved

I do like the ALR1 but I get zero pod life in there so it's a rubbish refugium :(

But I haven't changed rowa for ages either and ultimately I've got 7 fish, including a tang in 120 litres of water so I guess I had this coming ;Sorry

Oh, and Tomini tangs suck at eating ulva
