Many years ago when I was in the Navy I had a little battery powered airplane that would fly in a
circle around my ceiling. A friend of mine saw it and always liked it (it was an F-4 Phantom like
he used to work on). As he was getting out of the Navy I gave it to him and he was thrilled to get it.
Less than a week later someone did something nice for me and that gave me the same thrilled feeling.
I always felt it was Gods way of bringing the joy to me I had given to my friend.
Fast forward to last weekend, I was giving away some old tank hardware to a local guy when
he came over I showed him my setup and he looked into my frag tank and said that he wished
he had brought money to buy some frags from me... When I was done with giving him the
hardware I went over to the frag tank and started to bag and give him frags, he told me he
felt like it was Christmas for him. Afterwards as we were talking he told me that he had
just provided presents for a family in need last Christmas.
It reminded me of my friend and the little airplane, and it really was a joyful moment for me to
know that I was in a way returning the joy to him he had given to others through his generosity.
It also lets me realize the blessings I have had bestowed upon me to be able to bless others.
