The making of a algae reactor!

I bought a used vertex reactor and going to start off by making it a reactor with siporax and life bio fill. If it doesn't help as much as I'd like I'll be buying leds and converting it to a algae reactor. I was worried about my small critters and fish to getting into the pipe and found a vent guard to connect to the pump and the return.

this is the reactor how I got it. Instead of buying new true unions I decided to get couplings to hook up to the current unions. A couple 90s in order to get from tank and back in.

this connector will screw on to the pump inlet to prevent disaster.

this will be the outlet of the reactor. Connected by a 1/2" connector which is threaded on one end and smooth on the other side.

It will be a hang on the back reactor. The right side is where the pump will attach.

Ok guys here's the finished product. I forgot one piece so it needs to get painted still. But this is it so far!

Ok so ran into a problem. This reactor is way to big to have as a hob reactor. But idk how I would go about plumbing it all to the floor and back up...as well as how to do the pump
