A nutritionist is invited to speak in the RV Resort’s social hall. The topic of her presentation: Foods to avoid eating. Halfway into her presentation, she says: “If you eat these types of foods it will negatively impact your overall health, not only your physical health but especially your emotional well-being.” She turns to the audience and says, “Can someone give me an example of a type of food you should avoid eating at all costs?” An elderly man, seated in the rear of the room, raises his hand and says, “Wedding cake!”

Esther lived in a tiny travel trailer next door to Murray who had a small fifth wheel. She knocked on his door and said, “Murray, I’m having a problem. I have one of those 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles, dumped all the pieces on the table and have no idea where to start.”
He replied, “What does the box show as the finished puzzle?” “It’s a rooster.”
He went next door, looked on the table and said, “Esther, make us a cup of tea and I’ll help you get all the corn flakes back in the box.”

Hi everyone!!
I haven’t been on here in quite some time but I’m hoping everyone’s doing well. Just wondering if anyone has heard from or talked to @Katrina71??? She brought this awesome group together and I just haven’t seen any post from her. Not being nosy just concerned.

Two men meet on opposite sides of a river. One shouts to the other, “I need you to help me get to the other side!” The other guy replies, “You’re on the other side!”

Getting excited!
I'm about 2 weeks from set up!!
I have my sump siliconed together.
Just need to get the 120 carried in from the garage and start messing around with a couple plumbing bits before initial set up.
I've been sitting here trying to do puzzles in my head of how I'd make 40 gallons of RODI, heat and mix salt then get that in the aquarium in a decent amount of time while the fish corals are in buckets waiting for the tank to be filled.
So my answer is; I need to go grab another 44 Brute can make an extra mix container temporarily, the one I already have full, plus the 40 gallons in the current tank will only get me to 80 of the 120 needed.
I just spoke for 25# of live rock with a bunch of coral on it, to get the tank seeded properly.
I just ordered a bottle of Fritzyme as well to help with bacteria availability.
I was kind of worried about messing up the cycle having 75% new Saltwater with 25% old Saltwater but with the Fritz and 3 year old live rock I feel pretty safe about throwing fish and corals in right away.
I also ordered a nifty pump that sucks from the bottom and can empty a bucket or whatever it's in down to 2mm from the bottom!

This will be used for water transfer from here on out during water changes; dirty water out the window and then SW Brute can to tank.

I'm going bare bottom, high flow.
My goal is to get the bottom encrusted with Leptoseris, Cyphastrea and GSP.
I've attached a photo of the rock with coral that I'm getting.
For rock there's a tower, arch and cave totalling 25# or so.
Corals included are GSP, Xenia, Cespitularia and small amount of pink zoas.

Step 1: Get the tank moved from garage into the house - CHECK!

IMG_7431.jpg

Step 2: Tomorrow pick up 1x3 furring strips, 44gal Brute and black spray paint for the strips.
Going to use the furring strips to beef up the stand a bit, just for peace of mind.

Now I'm throwing around the idea of flipping the tank and painting the bottom, since I'm going bare bottom this time.
Any thoughts, tips or suggestions on this? @vetteguy53081
Anyone else here running bare bottom tank?
