I think I posted on the other Katrina thread, but they have bandages now that use small zip ties instead of stitches to hold the wound closed. Kinda cool and I love zip ties! :p
They are expensive. I need some with the boys hanging out right now.

Ouch! Good thing you didn't need stitches. I think the ER or Urgent Care is about the last place I would want to go these days.

There have been many times I've needed stitches. When possible, I stitch myself or use glue. Sometimes I just use a rag and duct tape until I can stitch or glue the wound.

Nothing like a good ole dirty shop rag and electrical tape for a gaping wound. Tried and true.

First day of 70 degree weather expected today. I've been putting it off but may have to start running again.
Same here and will believe it when I see it.
Living along the lake is sweet but that "Cooler by the Lake stings".

Good morning y'all. Woke up with the cat sleeping on me. I think she was worried I'd forget cat food on the grocery delivery.
Time to get up Katrina . Poor thing looks skinny

A friend of Katherine's was looking to put in a new sink, add a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. So, she asked if I could help her out. Ran new electric, installed the sink, dishwasher and disposal with new plumbing. Here was my reward. Kind of a regular occurence for me. Perhaps I'll learn to be more careful one of these years but am leaning toward more gouges in my noggin.
