It was ordered metric, 1650 x 650 x 450 shallow, it is one tank but there is a full glass divide at 1000 mm, it has a swim through hole in the divide back near the weirs, one weir for each side. :)

What's the total water volume. I'm pretty sure I can take metric and turn it into gallons.

I bet NASA has something similar now after their grand 1999 failed trip to Mars with the Climate Orbiter or whatever it was called. Failed due to the engineer who failed to use the right units (imperial vs metric). Interesting how we can take a small pice of history - September 1999 and use it to teach engineers in 2020 on what not to do or add to a checklist to prevent it from repeating itself...

History is a good thing.

ROAD TRIP

Went to a Lfs that just opened in the last couple of weeks. UnderWater Paradise

Than we went to Tye-Dyed iguana
Stefan wanted to look at spiders

Than to gateway aquatics.
Walked out with rosta and chucky bride

They had a tank called the dragons lair.

I asked if they had ab+. Nope. The owner said I have 1 in the back because I have to hide them.

I never got back to catch up on my reading today...its been a tough day. Step dad’s been having stomach/intestinal issues for 3 months now. It’s been slow going because of covid. Finally able to have a procedure down last week and the found a blockage..took some tissue and sent it off to be tested. It came back positive for Cancer. He had Hodgkins Lymphoma when he was younger, prostate cancer 10 years ago, prostate cancer showed up again last July and now this. Didn’t get much information from my mom, because she broke down when we talked. He’s in his 80’s and has said that he wouldn’t go through the drastic treatments again. Specialists office that called with the news, has to forward report to his gastro doctor, who then has to bring in an oncologist. No idea how long that’s going to take. This virus has so much screwed up. He’s having a procedure Tuesday, so they can put in stints. I guess the blockage is keeping food from getting to where it needs to go for his body to be able to absorb the nutrients. Hopefully they will know what’s going on by then.
I use the door dash app..changed the address to theirs and had a really nice dinner delivered to them. Brother and sister going to do the same, alternating days. My brother is in NC, sister is in CT and me in Jacksonville, but we feel like we’re on the other side of the world. It’s not safe for us to be around them, because of the virus. When she told me and broke down on the phone, I was heading down today (it’s only 4 hours away)..until I remembered because of this d*** virus I can’t.

Im sorry for ranting..thank you for listening. We all have our daily struggles, but being part of the “miracle” helps make some of those struggles a tiny bit easier. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful group of people. Night everyone. Tomorrow is another day..stay safe!

I guess I need to unplug and move back to a small fishing community where people just rely on one another and take care of each other. I'm very confused by today's society.

So I'm feeding the fish a few minutes ago and notice my anemone hasn't been out much in the past 2 days especially during feeding.
It's usually spread out and waiting for food...
I look in there from a few different angles to see what's up and I now have 2 anemones
It split, how cool is that?
So excited right now!
Gotta figure out a plan to get it to release so I can get one in the office tank.
