Thanks. It'll look about like @najer predicted if it rains tonight.

Fair skin, drank too much and had a restless night! ;)

Neo got to play in some deep snow about a year ago, I’ll have to upload to YouTube to share because ohh man did he have a good time! But mostly he prefers a good snuggle :)

It snows here about once every 10 years on average. Saber & Sierra both had a chance to walk in the snow, but it was only on the ground for a couple of hours before it melted. That's how Louisiana blizzards go. :p

Great Danes would prefer to snuggle with mommy in front of the fireplace. Big babies. I miss them.

My mum had one of the last of a very high blood line pup to be released in the 70s, I grew up tending Great Dane puppies, the runt of any litter ended up in my mum's cleavage for warmth and was tried on the mother once the other puppies were settled, I still have scars from breaking up adult fights, they were separated but if they kicked off it always got messy, 7 adults in the house! ;)

The most loyal dog I've ever had. There is something sweet about the way they lean against you to feel your response to people.

I only ever got on well with the big male, Mayo, there was a small apple tree just inside the back gate, he knew the sound of my motorbike, he would "hide" behind the tree and as soon as I had closed the gate and turned around he would have pounced and have his front paws on my shoulders, head about a foot above mine or so and howl having captured me, beautiful animal. :)

I love Great Danes! Never had one but someday I will. I want one with floppy ears that’s gray and has black spots.

Currently have a Weimaraner/pointer mix and a German Shepard/mastiff mix.

Cropped ears on Danes in the States, does that still happen, that is barbaric just for looks?

Faun male, Maplemead Mayo at Sianic, beautiful boy.
I had 2 blacks and a blue. The blue was my baby. Largest female I've seen. Came from an abusive home. She trusted me completely, but found other people to be a challenge.

unfortunately it does still happen, as well as cropped tails and declawing cats :( I think it’s starting to become less common though and more places are starting to ban those practices.
