Me either. I bought some gift certificates from restaurants by me that I really like. The pizzeria is open for delivery. I talked to the owner and they are busier than ever including 80 pies that night to a hospital and 50 for the National Guard.

If people keep treating this as a 'mild flu' there's gonna be a lot of open jobs, no lie. Illinois is supposed to be "essential travel and business only" and people are acting like they were given a free 'spring break' pass

All of Louisiana goes on lockdown tomorrow evening. Stay at home unless going to work (and there are a ton of essential workers here - oil refineries) or necessary trips to the store or doctor. I'm ready. I wasn't going anywhere anyway. Goodnight to everyone still up! I'll be here all week! :P

So far this year, the flu has killed 23,000 Americans. But the only thing that we do for that is to put up a sign at CVS saying “get your flu shot here”. I just don’t understand...I’m a small business owner. All jokes aside, this is a death sentence for small business.

I agree, in the US alone the flu has infected 34 million people, 350,000 of which needed to be hospitalized and 23,000+ didn't survive. But to everyone else, it's just another flu season.

I was thinking about a bad snow storm, back around 1992 or 3. I had some friends in for the Big East Tournament and then we got an apocalyptic snow storm. The streets were deep in snow without a car for miles and we spent the night making snow angels in the middle of Times Square on Broadway.
