So these are some pics of the rock I have right now... my ideal "Shelf" @Katrina71 would be roughly 32" long and about 18-20" wide. As you can see, I'd need a fair bit of this rock to make that happen.

Exactly, hense the dilemma it's hard to balance the effort in time and money vs the reward on this one.
