Anyone have something encouraging to say:confused::(
I’m so new to corals I don’t know much. But The two coral shipments I’ve received so far looked so sad on arrival and really great the next day. Keeping my finger crossed for you!

Little worried..He’s not looking great...

Looks angry, but not sick. Give it a few days. I have corals that refuse to look good even in perfect conditions, but then they get out of whatever cloud their head was in and bloom like tulips...

Why did I check my emails ?? LFS sent me a message. . . . . .
Yup:

just a baby how big do they get? i had a valmingii 23" 3" thick for a lil while few yrs ago
Same as Vlamingi. My Vlamingi is 14-15"

I was at my LFS until a couple of hours ago. Donated them that pretty yellow colony, rented their PAR meter (60 on the sand, 780 directly under the center of the lights at mid tank... I could FRY corals with these lights if I'm not careful with the placement... 8 inches above the sand directly under the fixtures yields 310-325 par... I'm good with it.) and picked up some Vibrant.

I also fragged out their existing colonies for growth and flow. I don't know how I became their expert, but... I'm not an expert, I still have things dying in my own tank.

what cha feeding w them?

i'd start with the newly made saltwater, before right before you are putting it into the tank, if you haven't tested that already. it could be a problem with your water storage vessel or even the salt mix you are using, though that shouldn't be a problem.

could certainly be rocks, pretty common problem. i've never used the nopx stuff, doesn't that take a while to have an effect because its biological control method? if so, maybe something in your system isn't working for the bacteria and you may want to try another method.
Dubias or a hisser?
Dubai used to have hisses screwed up and feed all females to lizards population crashed.
what cha feeding w them?
A rose hair tarantula and a stripped knee tarantula
