@Katrina71 I don't want to muck up your dark wall white tank thread since I have the opposite and thus cannot post any pics, so I'll post here

Have you thought about using a sponge technique on the tank cabinetry with a hue that would compliment the wall to soften the sharp contrast.

My thoughts on solid white (or black), is the room is done in that style (ie the black laquer lots of glass and stainless steel trim) it would be fine, but if the the room is in soft textures, the sharp lines of the tank would be out of place. Sponge painting would soften the contrast with the wall and bring more attention to inside the tank.

just my two cents courtesy of the 20+ years previous co-habitation situation, when we had an interior designer on retainer.

It'll be stark white. I actually wanted to see what people did with the back wall in those tanks. Genius people on here. Wanted to make sure there wasn't a nicer option I hadn't thought of.

taste is personal, so just my personal taste; hang pictures, art etc on the dark wall to break it up, the white tank will still stand out and the plain white against a broken (ie textured) dark wall would be nice. Unless, of course, you are going for the sharp lines/contrast/minimalist look. Then ignore everything I said.

i was starting to wonder about @Dolelo96 ,but i keep hearing this little dinging sound ,think she is back in action :)

Yup, That would be me. I’m not 100% yet, but better than I was. I get up, do a few things, lay back down, rinse, repeat:p

Blame it on Covid-19. Probably no new product coming out and whatever was in stock is gone. Like Trident reagents.
I asked my local fish store. They’re only getting 2 month supply. He was told by Neptune could be another 8-12 weeks for the 6 month supply and 4+ months for Tridents
I quit getting notifications. I guess I messed up.
same here fin
That happened to me all last week, but mostly for this thread

I moved the betta from the office next to the reef tank since it was getting neglected.

It didn't take long for him to find the neighbors.

Then passing the word on to one of his tank mates

I'm not sure I want to keep the tank there, but for now it's nice to enjoy both tanks. The betta tank is on top of the apex/storage cabinet.
