here we go again. I rarely buy pack of corals online. The first time my tank crashed the morning hours before the pack arrived. I had that dino return right after placing my last order.

I was feeling confident that I had the tank under control so I pulled the trigger over the weekend. New frags, including sps, are arriving tomorrow, and

I just heard a pop in my lights, Rapid LED Coronas and now the left side puck blues are stuck on full strength. I can't get them to reset (the right side are responding to the controller).

bummer, try posting in lighting forum poss someone has had,or knows what to do/fix ?? worth a shot

better yet. I emailed my contact at Rapid LED and he got right back and let me know where the reset button was located and we are back in business!

These folks have great customer service. I few years ago I made a DIY ATS using their parts and they were very helpful with my order.

When I got my Coronas, I decided to start a review thread. I have reached out to them a few times for comments to the thread questions and the (Mike) had gotten back to us quickly.

Ok, own up, who fed the blue cespitularia just when I was taking a pic?

NOT ME...i've been under the bus 2x already ..nope not this time :p

any aggression with your dottyback and tang?
Dottyback and tang get along fine. The dottyback did attack the Royal gramma I added a few weeks ago and seems to have inflicted some damage. The gramma now has no balance and hides in the back corner. The tang came later and is bigger than the dottyback. She’s the new tank boss, lol.

Dotty back seem to go for the underside of the fish and kill them.

Throwback Thursday
Just took a look back on my thread to the tank just before I moved out of my home. The tank is night and day since the crash I had around the move, but I still love it every day.

I wouldn't mind a Royal Gramma or an orchid dottyback, but I've heard they are major jerks.
I have been thinking about an Orchid Dottyback recently (Pseudochromis fridmani). Beautiful fish and purportedly one of the least aggressive Dottybacks.

I think my Clownfish can hold their own. To be honest, what has held me back is not having a lid. They are darting fish and known jumpers.

I have a neon dottytback. While it holds its own, it's not aggressive perhaps because the coral beauty is constantly swimming through every passage and has conditioned the dottyback let it just pass by.

However, that doesn't worry me as does my concern the rock work will tumble due to its round the clock excavation of the sand bed under the rocks.

LOL, no sand for me. Wait, do they require sand or they’re just jerks?
