as far apart as the different colors are in that it's probably going to disco ball like crazy
coverage is stated as 27.5 inch by 27.5 inch and they want $929 for it...lol
I will give it this the spectrum looks promising

It has the lens diffuser. I think the lens further apart will have better spread, prevent shadow and hotspot.

Every manufacturer says that their new light is the best. I think that it is OK to wait for a while and observe how it works it before crowning it a king. I heard the same thing about ReefBreeders, Phillips CoralCare, Pacific Sun, Orphek, etc.

I hope that it is good, but smart to wait and see.

At last another tile LED hitting the market... far better idea than puck style/ spot lights, better coverage, less hotspots, and less shadowing, just hope it works as good as it looks...

Unless they are using a new type of led I don’t see how it will be much better than anything else on the market right now. Since it’s ati, I can now forget about ever owning one, seems anything they make with an led in it is really expensive.

My main issue is anything with different spectrum LEDs spread out all over the place without high density pucks and no diffuser is going to disco ball so bad it's not even funny.
It has a diffuser. You can see it in the video.

Except the enhanced disco effect you get from the tile style lights.

It’s a ati. There won’t be any disco effect. I’d bet money on it right now.

Actually let’s start a pool on it. Coral from your tank buy in for disco no disco. Winning side gets corals from the losers with paid shipping.

I’ll even put my money where my mouth is. If this light has a disco effect I will send rev $100 for him to spend as he sees fit in our community.

100% agree the only similar quality tile lights to the best of my knowledge are orpheks and Lanis and neither of those suffer from it..
