I have another chapter update for ya!

I have had a purple tang in quarantine for awhile now and he has been through QT and doing great. I just have held off from adding him until I get the new Copperband. We are starting out strong with the CBB. I have him eating aiptasia brine shrimp AND blood worms soaked in Garlic guard with Selcon.

This is second true attempt but my third Copperband. I am STILL upset about how I lost my first one who was eating LRS out of the water column. Read a quick blurb in the Eshopps regret post here to find out more about that. The second one I received DOA unfortunately. With this third one he is doing great! (I may write an article on my method on how I get them eating) not sure if it would be received well or not but I have had great success with my method.

Now for the title card....

I love purple tangs nothing like them but they are a little spicy. I waiting to add the purple until I got the CBB eating. However I have him in acclimation box and he is raring to get out into the Reef. Im going to leave him in there few days to make sure he is used to everyone swimming around and all in there to mitigate aggression. My much larger foxface is tank boss right now but the purple and convict tang are both young and similar size.
So HOPEFULLY we have a Halbrand. I feel good about it all but you never know.

I was at a LFS yesterday and saw this gorgeous coral beauty probably the best one I have seen in person. Swimming well eating good nice color and I mean super nice. I picked him up to say the least and he is currently in QT going to be treated Just in case. See him here and I'm super stoked I picked him up

Well im sad to say my copperband whom I got eating frozen using my method (Check out my guide here). He had to be rehomed....

Sadly his taste for aiptasia grew into a taste for my acantho and wellso. I watched him pick on them and rip chunks out but he decimated my field of aiptasia all thats left is a few large ones which im hoping my peppermint shrimp take care of but they seem like they dont care so we shall see.

Final stretch
I just want to say that I'm nearing the end of completing my fish stocking guide. Unfortunately a CBB will not be on the list but a few others will be showing very soon in the Palantir.

I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to update this thread with the last chapter. There might be updates here and there small tidbits but this is last big update for awhile probably.

Mount Doom
This is my current FTS. I look to get more coral when I can but with rising prices and other things being more important. This is what I got so far not to shabby maybe lol.

Sam and Lord Sauron
So I have two final additions that complete the stocking of this tank for now. I may change it up in the future but we have Sam the Coral beauty. and Lord Sauron himself The whitetail bristletooth. Now I know what your thinking how could he be? Arent they mostly docile? The answer is yes but he came in so large I had to put up a mirror for a while. The white tail beat up the coral beauty really bad he had a tail fin split almost all the way down it which has healed completely see the one pic below.

At first The purple "Halbrand" got pretty upset with him. The mirror did wonders

The Dark lord in jail lol. this pic was awhile ago. he's free now

I also got a cool clam and a starfish out check them out below

Nice system! Love the clam. My new system will have a few clams.
