I decided to get a 40 breeder and merge my Evo and WB20. One tank was upstairs and the other in my office. Keeping two tanks turned out to be too much work and was just not very fun. I am enjoying this tank and it has rejuvenated my interest.

Almost 2 months after the swap and things are doing well. I did have an outbreak of GHA all over the back wall and sparsely on some rocks. PO4 had gotten pretty high at .38, Nitrates were at 23.6. Scraped the wall and manually removed it from the rocks. Did a 50% WC to help get the algae out that was in the water column as well as take care of the Nitrates. Added some Phoseguard and over the course of 4 weeks brought the NO4 to .09. No more GHA issue.

My local club had a fragfest and I picked up a few things.
Montipora Digi Red
Birdsnest
Light blue Alveopora
Firework clove
Aussie Torch
Golden Rainbow Hammer
Finger Leather
3 Mushrooms

I wasn't happy with my scape and changed that around yesterday. (FTS in the 1st post)

Took about 2 hours, pulled much of the rock out, added two 5lb pieces in the corners, and created an arch from some of the rock I removed. I still think it is missing something, an overhang, or something more in the middle as the arch is very close to the back wall. I do like it better than what it was, much more open and cleared up some space on the sandbed. Will leave it as is for a while.

Will be adding a Jebao SOW-8 today as well as starting to dose Kalk.

Since the tank transfer, I've hardly seen these two, now the past two days they have come out from hiding and been working hard. The pistol's strength is pretty amazing.

Somehow an Apex ended up in my cart at Saltwater Aquarium. I hadn't planned on one until I upgrade in a year or two, but this time of year, I tend to buy myself something nice!

I've wanted to skin my Imagitarium metal stand and figured I'd start with the inside over the holidays. Here is what the stand looked like a few minutes after the FedEx guy left. I had to plug it in and tinker with it, I'm always impatient with new toys.

Normally the ATO bucket is under the stand and the power was on the right.

Then I got working on how I was going to place everything. I used 3 2'x2'x1/2 inch Birch Plywood, painted with gloss black appliance epoxy. The sides were 24x16 and the bottom ended up as two pieces, 24x18.5 and 7x18.5. Had some spare wood to make a 14x12 shelf.

I still have some cable management to do on the ends. This will also be covered when I get the skin completed.

Finished product.

It feels great to have it nice and tidy under there now.
