i had a perfectly healthy gem…
grew him from a lil pup.


turned into a complete d-head.
literally watched him bully every fish in my tank, prevented my wrasses from doing their thing….

on top of that nonsense,
he looked me dead in the eye one day…
and proceeded to thrash my cynarinas with his scalpel!
that was it…
he’s lucky i caught and sold him
versus
throwing him off my balcony in a high rise condo!

(catching him was such a pain, fishing line and acclimation box… took like 5 days, every fish went in there before his cowardly self did!)


needless to say, i hate tangs
and don’t understand the cult mentality behind them…

That is a terrible fish! Sorry. Second borbounus that Billy’s every wrasse. Trying to catch him now. Done with them so I get it

mine sort of messes with my established basslet,
but it’s nothing more than goofily swimming up and bonking him with that bowing thing borbs do…
basslet is unfazed/unimpressed lol

New or old. Tried one years ago and it failed. It stay high in the water watching then picks a wrasse and chases. It bothers them all. Makes the wrasse start pushing each other. Last time I had to drain tank and pull rock. Hope I don’t this time as it’s a 200 gallon display

I had a Randall's basslet when I started back up in 2015, it was a jerk, lol. It gave a pair of domino damsels a run for their money. Had a chalk previously and it was a scardy cat!

i’ve had mine for like 8 months…
he’s always perched upside down in his lil nook..
darts out to grab food, then goes back to his nook.

Japanese ventralis. These were on the small side and I think they succumbed to uronema. I’ll pm you.

Well thought I was going to finally get myself the diamond tail I have been trying to get for a long time now. Saw they posted on Facebook saying they got some in, went to their website and couldn’t find them so I messaged them with no answer. Decided to call and he told me they sold out of them. The hunt continues!
