The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

Quick question for you guys
I think I know the answer but if I add this beauty into my established tank with a six line
six line will go after it correct?
The more salient question is why do you still have a six line in the DT?

That’s a Meleagris Leopard Wrasse - Macropharyngodon meleagris :)

Who do we have here?
they are… 2 Pinkies - both a male and a female and a juvenile Chiseltooth Wrasse!

Oh, and the 4th new wrasse to my collection… he resides in my 3 foot nano, where my original pinkies were.

That’s a juvenile chiseltooth?! Too bad they grow up!
Yeah!
In the LFS I’ve also got an adult female/transitional male and man, her colours are insane. If I didn’t find the Juvie I’d have nabbed the adult.

Hey, I've been away from wrasse duties for a while but am looking at making a comeback with a big long article about....

Non-reef safe wrasse!

So I'm looking for:
  1. Pictures! @OrchidMiss Can I use a pic of Red? @OrionN do you have pictures of a Harlequin Tusk? Anyone else I'd love to see your wrasse monsters and use them in the article! I will use with explicit permission only.
  2. Editors! Also, you very much are allowed to give me constructive criticism and rewrite sections. Just really looking for a person or more to give me their two cents!
Plan is to do it roughly similiar to evolved's article but as an homage. Concentrating on the most common species and genera while warning off the insuitable. Of course I will use the wrasse bibble heavily too. Thoughts?

You have no sense, my good sir, I’ve heard of these “coffees” you drink and frankly I’m appalled.

Though I’d be honored if you gave it a read through my fellow excellency!

I'm currently drinking Kona Peaberry with nothing more than water and bean juice to sweeten the nectar

A few more cents and you could elevate that coffee with cow juice.

We don't keep cow's milk in our living establishment here, we tend more for milking the almonds.

Sorry, forgot about the pink raising hipster. Make that Highland Cow milk. But it's gonna cost you more than a few pennies!

Baby Hat GIF

Not only is cow milk absolutely disgusting once you think about it. It also is absolutely awful for the environment in every way.

I have an established ornate leopard wrasse and wanted to add a small bluestar. My tank is 4 foot 8 gallons. I used an acclimation box for 2 days and just let the bluestar in. It did not go very well, the ornate attacked him very aggressively. I managed to put the bluestar back in the box. What should i do now?

The ornate is way bigger than the bluestar and has been in there for 6+ months.

Of course! Red will be happy to have a photoshoot when I get home in a couple of hours.
Or use one I've previously posted, up to you.
