It's a sad day but it had to be done. First I will start with the reason I think it happened my work schedule has changed and because of that I'm not able to feed the tank as heavy as I usually do and one of my Pylei went crazy and pick the wrong wrasse to go after which is my M. flame so I just had to take all the rock out to catch the Pylei I took out both Pylei cause I did not want it happening again[emoji20]they are now in my main display with the bad boys. I hope my M flame is ok now

Little feeding video. The Potter's was not interested in the LRS, gonna give some live food a shot tomorrow (any recommendations?) He was pacing along the glass all day yesterday, but has let up a little today.

M. geoffroyi has been an active swimmer. Getting more pods for him tomorrow. Still showing no interest in garlic soaked LRS and prawn roe.

Ok so this is labeled as a African KwaZulu Fairy Wrasse Female. It looks identical to what a couple other vendors are selling as female diamondtail flashers. What am I missing?

My guess is the blue/white lines and dots plus bigger back tail fin in the kwazulu

I don't know... If you compare those 2 photos they look identical to me. Lines and dots are in the same place, black spot in the same place, tailfins look the same to me too. Also if they are different, which I'm not convinced of at this point, they belong to two separate genus?

Earmuff was at NYAquatic, grey head on divers den. I couldn't say no

Yeah completely agree, I can't see a difference either, mislabeled by one of the vendors??? I would be curious to know...

It is a pretty large female, still has her markings which you can't really tell from the video. Over the years I've strayed away from wanting male/female pairs of wrasses because the transition seems inevitable. If I were to, I would opt for a tiny juvenile female.
