Another diamond tail in tonight’s drop....
It has a blemish too, so I’m guessing it will be priced accordingly.

That was quick!
$255.99 (after discount) shipped for a terminal male attenuatus with the tiniest blemish on its tail, is a great deal!

IDK, if it were me I wouldn't have bought it, usually I don't mind the blemishes but the tail is one of the coilcoo things about this fish.

Not rare wrasses, but Im so stoked getting these in my tank. Been wanting these for a while, but took me few months before I was able to evict my evil 6 line. Bwahaha

6lines are such devils...
Useful buggers, but they’re devils!

Agreed, but given the rarity, I’m sure whomever bought it is still quite stoked to be adding this beauty into their system.

So I’m guessing LA bought up all the Attenatus’ destined for North America?
Their collectors definitely found a honeypot location...
They’ve been trickling them out and making a killing!
Wonder how much the collectors in Kenya got?
Can’t imagine it’s even 10% of what they’ve been selling them for...

Yes, I believe they’re also ornery, though not as bad.
Your best bet might be a pink streaked wrasse...
They're quite chill.

Yeah I would still be excited, but the way I see it is if you wait such a long time for such an awesome fish...i wouldn't want to settle for one with a damaged tail. Maybe I'm just being too picky though.

They’ll hold shipment after you’ve purchased for up to two weeks for ya, regardless of what their policy states...

;)

Really?! I tried to get them to a couple of years ago but they wouldn't. Do you have to call them? There's no place on the order form to even wait the second day....it always defaults to the day after you order!

Thanks for the tip!

I know right?! That's why I'm planning on adding a small 6 line maybe in a week or two.

Are 12 lines have same behaviors?
There are so many other wrasses that provide the same usefullness without the attitude od a sixline.

12lines aren't nearly as bad, as that's another common name for a juvenile melanurus wrasse.

Oh I see. Thanks.

Good thing I'm not in a hurry to add one this time, so I have plenty of time to do research.

So far, as recently suggested, a 12 line and pink streak are mentioned. What are the other wrasse that will work in a 65 gallon?

Halichoeres chrysus, H. leucurus, H. leucoxanthus, H. cosmetus, and H. timorensis are few others that will help with coral pests.
