I have one and it’s diet and behavior is very similar to my other species of Leopards, but better behaved than my Ornate.

Cool...I just put him in my display....he swam around for a sec and then hit the sand....typical...lol....

Those two are in the same complex within Cirrhilabrus, so they'd need plenty of room to get out of one another's way. I've tried it, and while the two didn't fight, the colors of the smaller solon dulled to disappointing levels.

Mainly you need some sort of Telephoto lens. The fish spook and act un-natural if you are up against the glass. You just need to be far enough back that they don't know that you are taking picture of them. Wrasses post another challenge. They are too fast and thus you really need to have a high speed lens to freeze them so you can have clear pictures.
Some of the pictures of my fishes were taken with phone, but most of wrasse pictures were taken with my Olympus E-M5 Mark II.

I thought I heard humblefish saying he thought all of the rhomboid deaths could possibly be due to swim bladder infections from a new collector piercing swim bladders with the same needle over and over. Said it goes in cycles like they figure it out, change their ways, problem solved, then new collector does repeats the process or something like that.

I took this one of my potters with my phone, but I just got lucky....I too need to get a camera for Christmas! LOL,!

How's yours doing? I just let my 4 inch Male into my DT after 2 weeks QT. It's doing great except for a slightly tattered pectoral fin, which I am unsure what from since it's been by itself those 2 wks.

My Potter harem did not do well. Ordered 4, one DOA. The three that die great got into my DT. I am not sure where the two females are. They are likely anemone food.
It seem to me, it I am going to loose wrasse, it is the young ones. In the past I also lost two small Leopard, but the three larger one did fine. They just disappeared. In this case since there seem to be no aggression, and they were eating well, I assumed that they got eaten by my Carpet.
So I ordered 4, ended up with just one Terminal Potter Leopard. Got refunded for one and lost two via Gigantea's food. I did not file for refund for these two because it is not fault of Live Aquaria.

I don't keep anemones. But is there not a way for you to determine if it gotten eaten. And do many of your fish dumbly get caught? Thought it'd be instinctual unless ur tank is majority anemones.

Did you see any evidence that the anemone ate the wrasses?
They see anemones in the wild so I am assuming they instinctively know to stay away from them.

I would be more suspect of live aquarias holding/shipping practices with this particular wrasse.
I imagine the demand for them is extremely high and that they might ship them as soon as they get them in, as opposed to letting them rest for a day or two.
The double shipping stress might be more of a cause.
But I am just speculating all this.

He's doing great! One of the first up in the morning and the last to go to bed! Yea that is strange since he was the only one in the QT....is he eating good? I am sure that find will heal up in no time!

Dang.... sorry about your potters....yea I have a large blue carpet nem also. I am always keeping an eye out. Especially with new leopards.....

This is why I don’t have nems anymore cause I love my wrasses more had a few bubbles before but they killed a pylei I had and I gave them away.

Yea I hear ya on that....I have been lucky so far with my carpet nem.....but I have had a couple of China Wrasses in the past and a leopard all doing great one day and gone the next....at different times....like OrianN...so guess it could have been the nem.....

Good point about not putting certain fish in...I won't try a China Wrasse again after this last one died. That's another reason I haven't tried a Choati, as beautiful as they are....my LFS sells them for 300.00 for one, but I heard they are the hardest of all the leopards.....

You can usually tell if it’s them. If they look like they are having or had a big meal then you know it was them.
