Agree with above . On the blue streak cleaner get a captive bred one. Far too many wild caught ones die because they need a lot of other fish and are very difficult to train into aquarium foods. Save some fish and go for captive bred.

Decided to stop caring about pretending to like other stuff and just focus on my true 30 year addiction lol

Currently have a single Melanurus in my 240 gallon cube. Looking to add some additional wrasses, such as; royal flasher, library’s fairy flasher, termini Ii fairy, exquisite wrasse, mccoskers flasher, carpenters flasher, and possibly a rose band fairy wrasse. Should I be concerned with the melanurus wrasse already being established? It has had some bulky tendencies in the past.

Ok, I have a 75 with 40 breeder refugium sump. Stocking as of now copperband, two standard clowns and a bi color Blenny. I have Tampa Bay live sand, so no wrasse that needs sand. My most importantly qualification is must not stress my copperband. Any suggestions on a wrasse?

Is Tampa Bay sand really a no go for wrasses that need sand?? I was under the impression it would still be okay. They claim it is, too. Here is a side view of my sand bed, the very bottom .75-1" is Ocean Direct, the top .75-1" is Tampa Bay sand. Thoughts?

I have a 4 inch melanurus that viciously attacks anything added to the tank, including nori. He even picked up several new snails and flung them across the tank. However, if I add stuff, including new fish, after he buries himself when the lights are out, everything is fine.

+1 on the A/Bs. Maybe isosceles, lubbocki or maybe an exquisitus would go nice between the current stocking. @Slocke how has your C. rubeus been? Is that on the more peaceful side of rubriventralis?

I feel like the rubriventralis are a lot of show with little bite. Mine likes to size up to other fish and so the occasional dive bomb. But no attacking.

That’s a good idea. To do it after lights out. should I have any other concerns on adding these additional wrasses?

What am I missing with Live Aquaria? Never Have I seen this fish in this price range.

Naoko should be around a $100-110. LA are just a bunch of crooks and I quit for good after a bunch of dead fish. I got my Naoko through reefs4less.com which I believe is drop shipped by blue zoo in CA.

Mines been fine other than maybe the fact I'm pretty sure he's the one that ate two cleaner shrimp lol
