Super cute at that size. I got mine about 3inch+ pretty aggressive for "non aggressive" wrasse. Not a issue so far! Very dog like at the glass. Photo hog. Ill post some at breakfast tomorrow.

Nope
I want a second big one and see if I can get it to transition.
Hopefully having multiple and a bigger one can get me the mythical male
An LFS near me had a pair, I don’t know if they still do but I’ve not had the chance to see him except from photos and the males truly are gorgeous.

We think we are dealing with a Juv McCoskers but when they are small its just so hard to be certain

I would say that’s a Mccoskeri female - although rubricaudalis isn’t out of the picture. Where did she come from do you know?

Rawr!
Earl wants hugs.

Really sad he was out of focus, he was fully flashing and he looked stunning.
There is a mirror on the wall behind my night table he lives on. He really seems to be studying himself some days.

He sure does!
He swims over to my bed every day to say good morning and goodnight.
He refuses to eat pellets that touch the ground, so you can only feed him 1 or 2 at a time and prefers to eat directly from the tongs, rather than things that float around and might have possibly touched the ground.
*spoiled fish alert*

Lovely looking fish, and great photos. I’d have a *very* hard time not thinking, as Taylor Swift would say, “you belong with me.”

It could be either - my Rubricaudalis came in on a Kenyan Import (I have no idea how).
This is the hardest part with these Juvs. I wish I could label these right every time, but it's really hard/almost impossible to tell. I don't think anyone buying a McCoskers would be super upset getting one of these guys instead. (We are not promoting mis-ID'ing Fish for sales)
