Look what I got for wrasse Wednesday!

Did you catch one of those wrasses yourself?

So this was supposed to be a filamented flasher and a hooded flame fairy wrasse. I got two flashers and a fairy. Are they the right fish @i cant think ?

Sadly no. As a female puddingwife is a very pretty fish as is the garnoti.

I’m not sure. Mine broke it’s back during transfer while it was female. I don’t remember any black in it’s dorsal fin. In this article you can see a whisp of black in the female.

Going to be hard with the pic. This pic shows the efatensis with a crescent tail compaired to bathyphilus. Top two are afatensis, middle bathyphilus, and bottom nahacky

Is that rubrisquamous? I love the colors but all indications are that it is a mean wrasse.

Yes. If it wasn’t mean it would be one of the first wrasses I would get.

Is this nasty like the red velvet or whatever it’s called now?

I had a Finifenmaa and he was relatively peaceful but I guess my other wrasses also weighed out the boisterousness.

My newest favorite wrasse food. Typically use it for my anthias but it has really fattened up my carpenter’s. Cube of SF Bay eggs and cube of PE calanus. Mixed together the calanus attaches to the egg globs and I just pour it in.
