No they are a rock wrasse they hide in the rocks not the sand

my newest addition - Rhomboid male.. Got a female too but she's not as interested in the camera as he is.

A very young male; mature males look quite different.Timor wrasse. I love the colors. he is rainbow like when the lights go down.
Thanks for the kind words. :)It's wonderful to read of your vast knowledge regarding wrasses. I don't have a wrasse, but am interested in your expertise and opinion on what wrasses make great reef pets. I am also interested in colorful wrasses that maintain their color and don't become too large as adults. I have a 120 gal reef tank with a 40g sump, lightly stocked. Would you mind offering some suggestions?
