Has anyone ever had one of these guys? Or had any other info that I haven't found? Thanks in advance
They get large for a fairy wrasse and many have reported them on the aggressive side for fairy wrasses, but the ones I have dealt with weren't that bad.

What can you gentlemen tell me about tonos fairy wrasse females? I bought one for my wrasse tank because I saw what makes look like and hope she changes..

In a tank full of boys though who knows. She's still pretty as a female though.

Anyone have any experience?

Would I be better putting her in a tank with no other fairy wrasses to change male or might she become a supermale (or prettier male perhaps) in a wrasse tank sausage fest with a dozen other male fairy wrasses

A very close cousin to C. filamentosus (whipfin), and almost as aggressive (one of the worst for Cirrhilabrus). I'd be hesitant to add it; the only thing in your favor is the number of potential targets being high.

Better in another tank with no other fairy wrasse or do they tend to be aggressive towards other wrasse or fish as well

Are there any Wrasse that would fit well into our tanks? We have the Innovative Marine 20 gallon and Red Sea Reefer 170. My LFS had a Lubbuck Fairy Wrasse in their IM 20. I'm not sure if that is the only one that stays that small or if there are more. Thanks.

Both of those tanks are pretty small. Wetmorellas and Pseudocheilinops ataenia would work and are very peaceful. A sixline or a fourline would fit but are pretty aggressive.

I am not as clever with my scientific names but possum wrasse stay smaller I believe.

I wouldn't keep any fairy wrasse in tanks that small personally and would also strongly advise against six and four line.
