Can't wait for mine to get some size to it. Very nice wrasse! What you guys think about this isosceles? Does it have potential to become a show quality one? It is about 2.5" to 3". It was at sitting in an isolated tank away from the other new arrivals at the LFS for about week now. It was healthy and bold and eating right after adding into DT.

Other wrasses (of different species), and a quality diet. That's really all it takes. What food you recommend to bring out the colors of the fairy wrasses?
Macropharyngodon are a bit different than some of the other genera however; usually trying to simulate a harem of them works out okay. Mixing multiple species of them is usually fine too; the only point of danger there being more than one male, and that applies across the board. Therefore, you probably could add all of your meleagris and the bipartitus as well, provided there is only male among them all.I still want to add atleast one bipartitus, but after reading the article by @evolved I'm wondering if it will be a wise idea. Looks like my plan to add more females may not turn out as planned either.
But would one bipartitus be a problem down the road with the meleagris?
Dude I just read it all too, just to find you on the thread hahaSomeone may find this a little crazy but I have been through all 230 pages of this thread. Knowledge = power, and this is such a powerful thread.
Johnsoni ignore peppermint shrimp. For those with johnsoni, do Peppermint shrimp stand a chance?

Yup.It's a male.
Depends on the age of the checkerboard. If it's an adult, that's likely to be an expensive snack. While we are talking about Peppermint shrimp, are they usually okay with Checkerboard Wrasses? [emoji51][emoji51]
Thanks so much!It's a male.
