Most of the time, yes. Night time is when the serious predators come out in the wild.

In that case, rather than adding any wrasses, I would recommend looking into an exit strategy for the red coris. It will quickly outgrow that sized tank, as will most good tankmates for it.
Appropriate wrasses for that size would include the flasher wrasses, small fairy wrasse species, such as the lunatus and rubriventralis complexes, as well as small Halichoeres species.

I have 2 fairies in QT. I am slowly ramping up cupermine for ick preventative- 2 drops a day. What's the max level should I go with wrasses as I know they're more sensitive? I am using Sea Chem copper test kit.
In a few months, I am planning on getting a leopard wrasse. I know they like sand to borrow in.. should I use sand from my DT, or get brand new clean sand to use in the QT? I am planning on putting the sand in a shallow bowl to keep it contained. Or is sand not needed for them in QT?

The more times I see wrasses undergo copper treatment in qt, the less sensitive I think they are. It is becoming more and more apparent that any sensitivity to Cu is likely more related to user misapplication than fish sensitivity.
If brought up gradually I have had wrasses do just fine in .5mg/L, which is where I stop with any fish any way.
You could use sand from your tank or nee sand, it doesn't matter.
If it is from LA, just call them and let them know the situation. They are pretty good about extending the guarantee in cases like this. Whatever you do, don't go digging around for it.

That is a beautiful looking Potters Wrasse. Is it true that they are a little more sensitive in feeding as compared to other wrasses?

I have male lineatus and isosceles, can I get a bell's flasher male? I have 120G tank.
They should be fine together, but I would recommend using a social acclimation box for introduction.
I don't have experience with their customer service, but I would still give them a call and let them know the situation.

Of all leopards, the potters is said to be one of the more delicate species, IME they're not that hard to keep if you can get a healthy specimen and get it onto prepared foods. I've had mine for 10~ months now, I'll be very happy when it reaches its one year birthday. :)

Added a M. negrosensis (black leopard) yesterday. Everyone is getting along fine and he/she(?) had been an active swimmer and seems to already be adjusted to our time zone. Glad this guy came in. My buddy has been trying to order them for a while now. They dont appear to often in my area and more. Very pretty fish, I hope it does well. It was hard to get a good shot of it at the ramping end of my lighting, first photo was taken with flash on.

I have a banana and a pinkface with my red coris but the red coris was there first. Pinkface and banana are not ideal tankmates I am lucky. Red coris are pretty docile as far as large wrasses go.

That one may beginning to transition male - not very far if at all, perhaps. I've not seen enough of them to know but that's more beautiful than most juvi and appears too large to be a juvenile?Added a M. negrosensis (black leopard) yesterday.
