Thx eatbreakfast! I love his colors! He is not the most easy to fish to get a pic of, so his colors are a little muted in the pic, but when the light hits him the right way he almost sparkles green!

Nice!
Of course you should get more wrasses! Most fairies, any of the flashers, any leopards, and most of the small Halichoeres will work. What is your budget for fish? And which ones are you drawn to?Hey guys,
I am looking for advice.
in my 75g, I have:
2 clowns
1 Exquisite Wrasse
1 Red-head Solon Wrasse
In QT- Yellow Coris Wrasse
Should I get another wrasse or two? if so, which ones do you suggest?
Should I go for non-wrasse? What would go with them?
Frmale leopard wrasses are less of a 'guarantee' to turn male, so therefore more likely to be tolerated, but nothing is 100% certain. My LFS has a "paired" leopard wrasses for sale. I forget the price.. I was thinking about getting those two, btu then I read the article about pairing wrasses. I am not sure.. what do you think?
I like fairies too.
I do not want to spend $100 on one fish, especially when my tank is still new. maybe $50 max at this time
How many more do you think I can get without overcrowding the tank?
Mike, yes, I bought him locally. I got him a few months ago from Caribbean Blue Aquatics, (1756 Sunrise Highway in Bayshore). They had like 2 or 3 of them.Beautiful Richmonds one of my favorites as well
Jaws32..did you find it locally. I lost mine a couple of years ago and cant find another. I have a Greyhead which looks similar...

I like Caribbean Blue alot... I have been going there since it opened and never have had a bad experience.. I used to go to Suffolk County Fish and Reef when they were an actual store that you could just walk into to. It's well worth checking out. I just wish they carried LRS products. How is that store? I haven't checked it out yet. I usually buy my fish from Aquarium Village in Westbury.. my corals are usually from Pets Warehouse in Carle Place
I know! I still have my flame hawkfish that I got from them 6 years ago! He was my first fish:) and God bless him, he is still going strong! Last I knew, they said you could visit what live stock they had by appt only.I used to visit SCF&R too. too bad they closed down, it was a nice store!
I think it qould be fine, they are pretty resilient. But sometimes peace of mind and waiting is worth it.QUESTION!
My Yellow Coris Wrasse is pretty small.. maybe about 1.5-2 inches. I almost feel like he's too small to go into the 75 gallon yet.
My Solon Wrasse is almost about 2.5-3".. Exquisite is about 3.5-4" already. Clowns seems to be about the same length as YCW, but they are fatter.
Should keep my YCW in the QT till he gets a bit bigger, or would he hold his own in the 75g? there's plenty of hiding space and sand for him to borrow in. he is very fast, by watching him in QT.
Most fairy and flasher wrasses can be housed together. Different species of flasher will work well together too. In fact the only wrasse you mentioned that I would have reservations adding with other wrasses is the mystery wrasse, as they can get aggressive toward other wrasses as they mature.I've got an 80 gallon Deep Blue 4'x2'x16". Currently the only fish I have are a small Tomini Tang, a yellow coris wrasse and a red headed goby. I'm hoping to get a tanaka's possum wrasse as they are one of my favorite fish. Interested in carpenters and mccoskers (cannot house these together, correct?) and a leopard. Can you keep Paracheilinus with Cirrhilabrus together in this size tank? What about flames, leopard or a mystery? I've only ever kept a singular fairy/flasher at a time previously, and don't quite understand the wrasse compatibility chart.
TIA,
Brandon
