IME copper is not problematic if the levels are brought up slowly.

Especially if it's chelated.

Here is a video. Hopefully you can see the streak!! I am currently getting copper level up. I am leaving town tomorrow morning for 3 days:
Let me know what you think I should do based on what you see. Not seeing anything spreading rapidly or raised spots - their skin is hard to see anything at all.
1. Leave in the copper and continue to slowly raise levels
2. FW dip and transfer to new tank with prazi. I have a 10 gallon that was set up for corals, but I don’t have any corals in it right now, so I could move them there. Then I could transfer back to the 40 gallon with the copper when they are done.

Just not sure what to do!

Wow.... really nice blue stars....I didn't see anything of concern on the second one....as far as the first one scratching....all of my leopards will bounce off the sand making a mini sand storm....looking for little bits of food....like they do in the wild. If this is the scratching you were seeing I would say it is normal....

I would continue with the prazipro...but I will let others chime in on that...

I think I see it? Towards the top of the tail?
If anything, it might be a fluke. (It also might be time to take the discussion to the disease forum - the eyes over there are more trained on this sort of thing)

Thats not a fluke, it may be another type of worm or just damage that is healing, I wouldn't worry.

If the scratching is against rock it is not looking for food but rather addressing an irritation.

Thanks everyone!! I’ve decided to just stay the course with observation and raising copper. Both ate well and my main concern was the scratching when I don’t see anything on the fish. I’m going to cross my fingers and continue with a very slow copper raise over the weekend. I’ve set up an “emergency” 10 gallon tank complete with sand and prazi on top. So if my mom sees anything really alarming that the copper is not addressing, she can move one or both of them over and put the prazi in and be good to go!

We have decided the crazy eater’s name is Fantasia (our tank has a Disney theme).

I am not really concern about it based on my experience. My oldest wrasse is about 9 years old now. They are eating and healthy. I don’t see any alarming signs of disease. I have a purple tang in the tank, if he starts looking sick then I am going to have a problem.

When acclimating a new wrasse to a new QT, feeding 3-4 small feedings a day are good. Once in the DT, it's twice a day.

Feeding twice a day, i think your wrasses will starve. In the wild they are constantly grassing and eating. I used to feed twice a day. I learned that If I need to keep multiple wrasses in my tank I need to feed them more. In my tank I have an automatic feeder that feeds the fish 4 times daily. Then I feed them frozen when I get home from work plus nori. This works for me. I noticed less aggression. Just my 2 cents.

In QT I’m feeding them 4-5 times a day. And the crazy one is a PIG! I just fed her 2 hours ago and she ate 3 more shrimp before bed! Lol.

I feed my main tank 3x a day. Black worms in the morning, pellets after school and my mix of everything after dinner. (Will also have seaweed available always when my tangs get introduced)

Should be fine so long as they are NOT both male.

3 times a day in the DT. QT depends on the genus - Cirrhilabrus and Paracheilinus I only feed once a day in QT.

I run a large qt (40 breeder or 55) for qt, so at 2x it still doesn't build up too bad. Just gotta keep on top of water changes and really well seeded media when your not treating with antibacterials.

They'll do alright with once a day in qt, but they will likely lose some weight. They'll fatten up once they're in the dt.
