So, it's been awhile!

TOP DOWN PHOTO DUMP!

Been battling some cyano on the sandbed. Added two twin spot gobies to help combat it, also added a GFO reactor back onto the tank. Hope that helps! The cyano is disheartening, to say the least.

Wow, corals are looking great. What are you feeding the SPS corals and the fish?

Thanks, Sahin. I don't spot feed the corals at all, really. I feed the fish NLS .5mm pellets and the occasional mysis shrimp cube or chunk of LRS Reef Frenzy.

Finally broke down and treated the tank with ChemiClean. The cyanobacteria was just killing my drive to do anything with the tank. Everything seemed to go well. One of my favorite pieces did suffer a bit, an orange lobo I got from a LFS here in Louisiana. The good thing is, the recession has stopped and new tissue has already started to form. Hopefully, it'll make a full recovery.

Since the treatment and the second water change at the 48hour mark, the remnants of the cyano have turned brown and started to die off. I'll update with another FTS soon..

Looking good Adam. I have always been scared to use Chemi-Clean, because of what happened to Kirk. I used KZ CyanoClean once and it took months and months to work, but finally did. Unfortunately, the cyano came back not long after the treatment ended. Not the cheapest, quickest, or most effective way to go though.

Thanks, Gary! This is the second time I've ever used it, the first on this tank. I used it long ago on the old 120g, but it wasn't near as heavily stocked as the current tank is. All in all, I'm glad I did it.
